Publishing House Anubis – Honoured with a Prestigious European Award

The honorary badge Golden Book is in the form of an open book and is made of 24 carat gold. It is awarded to individuals and institutions from the Bulgarian cultural elite for their contribution to the development of European science and culture. The business distinction Golden Stamp is bestowed for European Management in the field of culture. It can be used to mark all important documents of Publishing House Anubis and its correspondence with institutions in Bulgaria and the rest of the European countries.

The publisher is certified with these important international awards by the jury of European Forum of Experts for achieving a status of high prestige and contribution to the image of Bulgaria within the project “Applauds for Bulgaria”. The award is part of a huge international project started in 2007 by the non-governmental organisations Official Representation of Unique European Cities and European Forum of Experts. The aim of the project is to nominate, award and integrate well- known European cities and in this way to develop a programme for more dynamic progress within the region. Renowned personalities in the sphere of economy, science and culture from European countries are also involved in the realization of the programme for prosperity of  society.

The nominations are done by 180 distinguished Bulgarian scientists and artists with international recognition, who hold golden distinctions for their contribution to science and culture and by the mayors of 156 Bulgarian cities and villages, winners of the award for Unique European City  for their significant historical, cultural, tourist and business potential.

Amongst the winners of the badge Golden Book are Raina Kabaivanska, Silvie Vartan, Prof. Andrey Pantev, Stavry Kalinov, Geory Cherkelov, Georgy Chapkunov, Ivo Hadzhimishev, Hristo Mutafchiev, Prof. Milena Mollova, Prof. Marko Semov, Valia Balkanska, Aleksandrina Pendachanska, Prof.Ivan Dobchev, Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov, the Symphony Orchestra of the National Bulgarian Radio, Vili Kazasian, and Acad. Georgy Markov.
